Wedding Photo Framing on the Gold Coast

Our wedding photo framing service prints and frames your chosen images in-house at our Burleigh Heads studio, with every frame, mat and glass type matched to the photo.

Drop into the showroom or book a free consultation to see options in person.

From Your Online Gallery to the Wall

Your photographer has delivered the gallery, and now you have a folder full of ceremony and reception images. Choosing the one or two for the wall is where many couples get stuck, followed by print size, mat colour and the right frame for wedding photos.

Our team handles the printing and the framing under one roof. In the showroom, you can hold frame styles and glass types against your actual print and see the result before you commit. Start with the photo itself, then work out where it will hang.

Choosing the Photos and Size for Your Wall

Narrow the gallery to a shortlist of images that still make you pause every time you scroll past them.

One hero image works as a large feature over a sofa or bed, while a sequence of three or four smaller prints suits a hallway or staircase. Measure the wall and note the room’s light before settling on a size.

Moments couples often choose to frame:

  • The walk down the aisle
  • Exchanging vows
  • The first kiss
  • A formal family portrait
  • The bridal party together
  • A black and white portrait
  • Your wedding invitation
  • Parents’ or grandparents’ wedding photos

Seeing a mat colour, moulding profile and glass finish beside the real print shows how they change the image, which a screen preview rarely captures.

Ways to Have Wedding Photos Printed and Framed

A framed paper print is the classic choice for wedding picture framing, though our studio also produces canvas, acrylic and metal pieces.

You can visit our Burleigh Heads showroom to compare these formats side by side and talk through which one suits your room and your photo.

Custom Framed Print

Custom framing gives your best wedding photo a frame built for it alone. You choose the mat colour, timber moulding and glass in our showroom, testing each one against your print.

Custom framing pairs a photographic or giclée fine art print with a mat, a timber moulding and glass chosen for the room where it will hang.

Canvas printing gives a large wedding portrait real presence above a bed or sofa. Go edge-wrapped or mirrored edge, and add a black, white or raw oak float frame for a sharper finish.

Acrylic printing places your image on archival-quality photographic paper, face-mounted behind a clear acrylic panel that resists UV and moisture.

ChromaLuxe metal prints fuse the image into coated aluminium in gloss or matte, and the moisture-resistant surface suits humid rooms.

Shadow box framing sets your photo alongside the keepsakes from your day, from flat stationery to dimensional pieces, all arranged in one deep timber frame. UV-protective glass helps guard the whole display.

FAQs

All You Need to Know

How do I get my wedding photos printed and framed?

Email us the full-resolution JPEG, TIFF or PDF files from your photographer’s gallery, or drop into our Burleigh Heads showroom with prints you already have. We’ll check the file, print it in-house and frame it to the design you choose.

Send us the full-resolution download from your gallery, not a screenshot or the copy saved on your phone. We’ll check it before anything is printed. If the file won’t hold up at the size you want, we’ll let you know and suggest a size that will.

Yes. In our showroom, you can hold different mouldings, mat colours and glass types against your actual print. You’ll see how each option changes the photo before you decide, then we’ll give you a clear quote.

Black, white and timber mouldings suit most wedding photos.

For an older or more formal image, gold and bronze profiles can work well as well.

Our guide on how to choose the right picture frame covers more, but the easiest way to decide is to bring the print in to our Burleigh showroom and try a few options against it.

We print wedding photos on archival paper, which is made to hold its colour for decades, so fading isn’t something you need to worry about. To keep the print at its best, hang it away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust vents.

Not when we print it. Our matte paper can sit directly against the glass, so your wedding photos can be framed without a gap. If you’re bringing in a photo printed somewhere else, we’ll check the paper and add a mat or spacers if it needs them.

Yes. A shadow box holds your photo, invitation and other pieces from the day together in one deep timber frame. You don’t need a layout planned. Bring everything in and we’ll work it out together.

No, our Burleigh Heads showroom takes walk-ins during opening hours. If you’d like more time to talk through your photos, display spot and budget, book a free consultation with our team.
